The fees we charge for notarial acts comply with California Government Code Sections 8203.6, 8206, 8211 and 8223.
The two most common notarial acts are acknowledgments and jurats.
In an
acknowledgment, a notary public certifies having verified the document signer's
identity so that third parties know the person who signed the document is the same person whose name appears on the document.
In a
jurat, a notary public not only certifies having verified the document signer's identity, but also that the document signer
attested to the truth or accuracy of the statement(s) in the document.
- Jurats $10 per person for oath or affirmation and certificate
